Sketching is more than a way to draw—it is a way to slow down, observe, and understand the world around us. Whether capturing a building, a landscape, or a small everyday moment, sketching helps us notice the details, proportions, and atmosphere that make a space feel meaningful. It is a practice of looking closely, thinking creatively, and finding beauty in the things we might otherwise overlook. For me, sketching is a way to connect with a space before putting it into words or design.
